IBM Internship - Application Development and Maintenance - Brasov location

IBM Client Innovation Center Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) was established in 2012 by joining several centers in Europe. The Delivery Center is part of a global network of 80 similar centers and uses the best IBM methods of work, global processes and techniques. The center has achieved CMMI Level 5 (Capability Maturity Model Integration) and its mission is to provide customers with software solution customized to their global business needs.

* Bachelor's Degree/ final year student
* Basic knowledge in Java/J2EE, Software Testing, Business analysis, Project Management
* English: Fluent
* German: Intermediate

Activities during the internship:

* Training regarding IBM as a corporation and IBM Romania - departments & activities
* Soft skills training for certain abilities - communication, team work, planning& organizing, presentation skills
* Common session regarding hardware, software and services and workshops depending on the professional interest of the interns
* Project tasks in frame of a development project on which interns will need to work together and share information and knowledge with the team members

Our Application Development and Maintenance competency area was started over six years ago and it’s been developing ever since. Today, we deliver expertise across a wide range of technologies such as Java, J2EE, Microsoft, .Net, Mainframe, Cobol, as well as Database Management and Infra Support. If you join our team, you could specialize in Java/J2EE, JSP, JSF, Software Testing, Business analysis and Project Management, and work on a wide variety of projects, ranging from maintenance to enhancement across a range of industries, such as: Financial Services (Banking and Insurance), Industrial and Public Sector.

To apply for this internship program you will need to study an IT/Computer Science, Technology or Mathematics degree and ideally be in your last year studies.
